Press Release：TIS INTEC Group and Osaka University's Center for Quantum Information and Quantum Biology (QIQB) have developed QuantAttack, a free-to-download game that allows users to learn quantum computer theory naturally.

TIS INTEC Group and Professor Keisuke Fujii, Deputy Director of the Center for Quantum Information and Quantum Biology (QIQB) have developed a game based on quantum computer theory called “QuantAttack”. It is a game based on quantum computer theory and will be released to the public free of charge.

“QuantAttack” is an action-puzzle game in which players must replace blocks to make them disappear. The rules for erasing blocks are based on the theory of quantum computers so players can learn the basics of quantum computer theory while playing the game. The game includes a tutorial, a single player mode, and a “versus” mode, allowing players to become familiar with the principles of quantum computers from a variety of perspectives.

This joint research with Osaka University’s QIQB was conducted as a part of collaborative research conducted under the “Quantum Software Research Hub” of COI-NEXT of the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST).
