QIQB’s Japan-Made Quantum Computer Development Team Awarded the 2023 Osaka University Prize
The Center for Quantum Information and Quantum Biology’s Japan-Made Quantum Computer Development Team has been awarded the 2023 Osaka University Prize in the university management category for its outstanding contribution to the development of the first domestically produced quantum computer and its release to the cloud.
In addition, Associate Professor Kosuke Mitarai from the School of Engineering Science and Associate Professor Takafumi Fujita from the Institute of Scientific and Industrial Research (SANKEN), who are both members of QIQB, received the Osaka University Prize in the young faculty category.
